At BottleSwap, every bottle bought, sold or swapped undergoes a rigorous multi-point inspection at our location to ensure 100% authenticity and quality. Our comprehensive check includes:

• the seal is verified intact and unbroken and tamper free;
• the bottle and label are inspected for glass condition, label placement, typography, spelling and mandatory legal warnings;
• the liquid is checked for proper fill levels, unexpected sediment and signs of oxidation;
• producer verification for lesser-known brands. We verify the distillery, brewery or winery, confirming batch and barcode details directly with the source if needed.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. If we detect anything suspicious, the transaction is cancelled immediately and the bottle is reported to Victoria Police and Liquor Control Victoria.
